The puppet play titled "Gregor Samsa’s Awakening: A Puppet Play", designed and directed by Dr. Bahar YILDIRIM SAĞLAM, a faculty member of our university's Department of Performing Arts, was staged by the students of the same department on May 20, 2025. Adapted from Franz Kafka’s The Metamorphosis, the play centers around the story of Gregor Samsa waking up one morning as an insect, presented through the lens of puppet theater.
The event, held at the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture, was attended by our Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Seda Tüfekçioğlu and Dr. Erdal KILIÇ. The performance, which attracted an audience including academics, administrative staff, and university students, received great appreciation. We congratulate our esteemed faculty member and the students of the Department of Performing Arts and wish them continued success.
