The Theater Society of Istanbul Medeniyet University staged the group play "Medeni Komedya" for theater enthusiasts.
The performance, directed by Associate Professor Dr. Rüstem MÜRSELOĞLU, the Head of the Department of Performing Arts, included three short plays: Anton Chekhov's classic comedy A Marriage Proposal, Olsa da Ölse written by Associate Professor Dr. Rüstem MÜRSELOĞLU, and Illegal Therapy written by our graduate student Arif İsa AKTEN. The plays were performed on February 26, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Aşık Paşa Conference Hall at the South Campus of Istanbul Medeniyet University.
At the end of the night, which saw intense participation, the members of the community who contributed to the preparation of the performance were presented with certificates of appreciation. The certificates were handed out by the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture, Associate Professor Dr. Seda TÜFEKÇİOĞLU, the Head of the Department of Film Design and Directing, Dr. Instructor Member Cem ÇINAR, and the Professor of Turkish Music, Prof. Dr. Recep USLU.
