The student exhibition titled "From Basic Design to Illustration: Introduction-Development", organized within the scope of the Basic Design and Illustration courses under the Department of Visual Communication Design, has opened at the İMÜ Gallery.
The exhibition, which opened on Wednesday, April 9, is curated by Lecturer Zübeyde Beşirli Cesur. The opening ceremony was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih SARIOĞLU, Dean of the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture and Head of the Department Prof. Dr. Ubeydullah Sezikli, Vice Heads of Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özge Sayılgan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Koray Sevindi, as well as faculty members of the department.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to the esteemed supporters who contributed to the realization of the exhibition: Bihter Eroğlu, Serkan Dinçer, Nimet Gökırmak Dinçer, Binay Özsoy, Özay Uyanık, Gülhan Akyazı, Senem Gökduman, Tazegül Gökduman, Zübeyde Beşirli, Orhan Yıldırım, Naciye Yıldırım, Habibe Piraye Baydaş, Muazzez Çeliktaş, Handan Çeliktaş, along with our faculty members and students, for their sponsorship and support provided to İMÜ Gallery.
The exhibition features creative illustrations developed by students based on fundamental design principles. These works showcase the development process of visual expression and offer viewers an interdisciplinary perspective.
