Different Civilizations met in Istanbul Medeniyet University!


"Common Language Arts Project" which is Department of Abroad Turks and Related Communities carried out jointly with the Istanbul Medeniyet University for international scholarship students began at May 7, 2016 Saturday with the  art seminars. Total of 60 students from 50 countries like Russia, Afghanistan, Palestine, Egypt, Iran, India, Turkmenistan and Romania will be participated in events which will be held such as drawing, animation, lithography.
Visual Communication Design Department Chair and Project Coordinator Asst. Assoc. Dr. Dogan Arslan  states that this project is too valuable for one of the fundamental principles of our university which is becoming "international university" ; this project consists activities that helps the boost international students ,which come to our Country to study with Turkey scholarships, in cultural artistic and social areas 
Arslan make following project-related assessment: "The objectives and priorities of the program is integration of the of students from different cultures and societies with each other as well as the society in Turkey with the planned activities. With this activities Turkey’s culture and civilization will be introduced and popularized in a global platform. With the artistic, cultural seminars and the workshops which will be held, Students can explore the artistic and cultural environment of Istanbul, which has a significant place among world civilizations, also they can meet with other international students and socialize with them in various activities. "
The project created in partnership with the Department of Visual Communication Design teachers gives seminars and workshops in the stated fields ; Asst. Assoc. Dr. Dogan Arslan in "Drawing", Res. Asst. Ertan Toy in " lithography " and Res. Asst. Koray Sevindi in "Animation". the project will take a total of five weeks and end with Istanbul trip.
