Iranian award-winning playwright, theatre theorist, lecturer, and translator Saeed Reza KHOSHSHANS will be the guest of our university to give a masterclass titled "New Directions in Contemporary Iranian Drama" to the students of the Department of Performing Arts.
Saeed Reza KHOSHSHANS is an Iranian award-winning playwright, theorist, and lecturer who has studied dramatic literature, theatre studies, and the philosophy of art. He works on western postmodern, avant-garde, experimental theatre and Eastern traditional dramatic rituals as contemporary motifs for new playwriting, theatrical materials, and theories. He has written books on drama studies and plays, of which some have been published, some have won awards, and some have been performed on stages in Iran and abroad. Since 2017, he has been a member of the IPF (International Playwrights Forum) of ITI and UNESCO due to his plays and theoretical works.
